Be in prayer as this week is Spiritual Emphasis week, a time for students to focus extra on their walk with God. We have chapel every morning this week, followed by shortened classes. I’ll be inviting the worship leaders to speak in guitar class, so pray that this will be a beneficial, encouraging time!

I’m now down to $240/month left to raise, and several one-time gifts have also come in, and some more are on the way! Thanks to those who have contributed!

Tomorrow I’m leaving for Minnesota, and I’ll be connecting with a few people there. Then it’s off to Seattle for a bit of vacation, then Denver for WorldVenture debriefing time, then back to Illinois.

During those last 2 1/2 weeks in Illinois, several people are hosting social events so I can meet new people, share what God is doing at BFA, and invite them to partner with me. If you’re interested in attending so you can hear more stories, contact me and I’ll put you in touch with one of the hosts!

Spring is in full bloom in Germany. The cherry and apple trees bless us with their fragrant blossoms, lilacs lightly scent the air down the street from my house, and the world has turned from brown to green in a matter of weeks.

Everything seems to happen quickly in the Springtime – both in nature and in school life. Since my last update, there have been far too many events to cram them all into a newsletter, so I put a few stories in this newsletter to give you a glimpse. Check inside to read a story from the choir trip to Vienna, a tale of a student at Music Festival, and a tidbit from guitar class!

A musician’s life always gets a bit crazy around Christmas time, and a music teacher’s life is doubly so. In a couple days I may be able to sit down and blog about all the Christmas activities and concerts of the last few weeks, but for now I leave you with a small gift that will whet your appetite for more explanations.
