Beginning of Fall

It’s beginning to look like fall around here!

Most of the leaves are still green, but there are definitely smatterings of bright colors!

On Sunday, Rachel and I went on a hike in preparation for her nature hike with her 7th grade science class.

One of the stations was the Animal Long Jump. Visitors can jump into the long jump pit and see how they compare to several forest animals.

The squirrel jumps a whopping 3.6 meters!

It looks (and feels) even more like fall here in Milwaukee. We had our first frost last Saturday and we’ve had highs in the 40s and 50s. At night it gets pretty cold.
