Support update – quickie

I mentioned in my newsletter that I had $300/month left to raise. I’m now down to $240/month left to raise, and several one-time gifts have also come in, and some more are on the way! Thanks to those who have contributed!

Tomorrow I’m leaving for Minnesota, and I’ll be connecting with a few people there. Then it’s off to Seattle for a bit of vacation, then Denver for WorldVenture debriefing time, then back to Illinois.

During those last 2 1/2 weeks in Illinois, several people are hosting social events so I can meet new people, share what God is doing at BFA, and invite them to partner with me. If you’re interested in attending so you can hear more stories, contact me and I’ll put you in touch with one of the hosts!

Just a reminder – if you want to donate or make a monthly commitment, check out my WorldVenture page.

To all reading this, please consider how you might be able to support Jill in her ministry.

I am a father with a son at Black Forest Academy (BFA). It is only because of Jill and her co-workers at BFA that I am able to do the ministry that I do throughout Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Our son has educational needs that means we can’t do homeschooling and local schools would only set him up for failure. Instead, he is thriving with those that choose to be teachers at BFA. They don’t see it just as a job but they have a passion to teach our children and a desire to be positive influences in our children’s lives for Christ. A majority of those that attend BFA do so because it is their only real option whether due to local language barriers, learning issues, or just wanting to be able to go to college in the US. And if our kids are not taken care of, then we must leave our ministries and return to the US so enabling Jill to be at BFA makes so many more ministries happen around the globe.

Please pray about whether God is calling you to be a part of Jill’s ministry at Black Forest through prayer and financial giving. If you are already a part of Jill’s ministry team, would you consider praying to see if God is calling you to raise how much you financially give? Thank you.

PS – Jill did not know that I was going to write this but I saw this posting and felt drawn to say something.
